@k1.visa.girlie.from.mnl: Sharing a few money-related things I did when I moved to the U.S. on a K1 visa! 🇺🇸💸 At first I was planning to give some funds to my husband to add to our savings, and use the rest of my money through my Philippine debit cards while in the U.S. PSA: Good cards to use are Union bank USD (physical card), GoTyme, GCash, CIMB (both physical and virtual cards)! But OMG naging sobrang mahal ng USD compared to PHP 😩 (PHP has gotten so much weaker compared to USD), so I decided to send my Peso from my Philippine bank accounts to my husband's U.S. bank account through Wise, para hindi na ako malugi pa. ✋🏼🛑 (I highly recommend using Wise to send from your Ph bank account to a U.S. bank account!!)
