in my opinion, hsk certification means you can read a lot of Chinese words & able to understand most of what is spoken. does not mean u can speak & communicate fluently due to unfamiliar sentence structure compared to your first language & multiple meanings of certain words. it's ok for basic, casual communication only, not really enough for professionals at the workplace as the video mentioned. the solutions are also mentioned in the video. it really takes a lot of time & effort to be fluent in this complicated language beyond the hsk certification.
