@thedailyradar: Kenyan comedian Mannerson Ochieng, popularly known as Akuku Danger, has confirmed that he did a vasectomy. Speaking in a new interview on the Tubonge Podcast, the comedian updated the public on his journey with Sickle Cell Anemia and his decision regarding fatherhood. ​Referring to a previous interview where he first mentioned not wanting to have children, Akuku told host Chris The Bass, "The thing I haven't told you is that since you saw that interview until today, I actually went and did a vasectomy." ​The comedian explained that his decision was motivated by the physical pain and childhood trauma he has endured due to his lifelong battle with the genetic blood disorder. He stated that he does not want to bring a child into the world who would have to face the same health struggles. Akuku also shared that the procedure was a shared decision, noting that his partner was involved and fully supported the choice. By taking this step, the comedian says he is taking responsibility to ensure the cycle of the disease stops with him.
