Clean and designed prettier doesn’t mean it’s functional. Google Maps offers way more information that is helpful than Apple Maps.

Tbf, for the first day or two the extension was open, Apple Maps didn’t have the schedule even though it was on the map, so directions wouldn’t tell you to use the D line. But google has had the schedule and directions working from even before it opened (if you set the date to after)

Google maps is more updated frequently especially business & more convenient, you're not restricted to one small range of apple devices. i can open google maps on my business Linux desktop, gaming computer, ipad, macbook or on my moms android tablet and have all the bookmarks and location history available. I've used different brand phones before and i learned it's best to avoid device limited apps & services if there are similar or better device-agnostic options to make switching back and forth easier or using it simultaneously.

i love apple maps it shows bus stop times really accurate and even shows where the bus is at while ur waiting i love it

As a New Yorker, Apple Maps absolutely destroys Google with transit. It merges connecting stations into one, it tells you street level entrances, shows you if service is being rerouted. Not sure about LA, but for all you LA people enjoying the new D Line and transit in general, I recommend Apple Maps

Apple Maps hasn't been bad since the early 2010s. I don't even have Google Maps on my phone.. the app seems outdated
