I'm confused. I've known since the beginning that Jax wasn't a good person. That was never up for debate in the show. Yet, it feels like a lot of people who are extreme with their hate for Jax, feel that way for reasons unrelated to the show. Like he's a God awful person, but it seems like the overwhelming amount of hate he gets is moreso to combat the people who like Jax. Because they don't think he can do any wrong, I guess. But in the end, that takes the focus away from the characters themselves. Like, it's cool to dislike/like him as a character. Though it seems like both sides of the extreme spectrum for Jax don't care about what actually makes Jax, Jax. The character either way can't win because those of you who hate/love him to an extreme don't care about the actual makeup of the character. I don't like Jax at all, but I at least can acknowledge and understand a character's personality based on the story itself and not my own biases.

a big problem with the show is how inconsistently the characters react to Jax's actions, they justifiably dislike him but when it comes to moment where he may be forced to take accountability in the finale and the penultimate episode they just kind of go ehh it doesn't really matter that much
