Yes! They do this with beaches too. In Hawaii, Mark Zuckerberg built his $100 million home right up on the beach, which is public land. He has private security posted barring access to it. The locals got pissed & found a public access to the beach, which is legal, & Zuckerberg tried to have it blocked. The locals complained to the city, county, & state. They (Zuckerbergs) now have to allow people on that beachfront.
