I’ve seen this same comment a lot lately: “You should thank your wife.” “You should thank China.” The way I see it, gratitude and credit aren’t the same thing. I’m incredibly grateful to both my wife and China for the opportunities they’ve given me. But I also know this life didn’t just happen. I chose to move here 16 years ago, learned the language, worked hard, built a career, and together with my wife we’ve built a wonderful life and family. To me, those two ideas don’t contradict each other. What do you think? Is there a difference between being grateful for someone and thanking them for the life you’ve built? 🇨🇳🇬🇧
