I thought my husband would grieve what was but the person I am now is absolutely the person he’s always deserved. My diagnosis actually saved my marriage because it answered so many questions and helped him see it was never a lack of love. I was incredibly ill and neither of us knew it. It gave him a patience and tenderness that never existed before. In the eight years I’ve been stable we’ve both fallen in love with who I actually am and that love is more real and pure than the day we got married. You’re gonna find peace and stability and it’s gonna bring love in y’all’s lives that makes the journey to it worth whatever it took to get there.

diagnosed w/ BPD here with MDD. I felt so bad for my partner that it pushed me to see a psychiatrist. blessing din siguro, kasi without him, I'd probably will not seek help.

Same thoughts. Felt bad when I was told that people need to tip toe around me because of my emotions :( bipolar + bpd here. I’m taking meds and trying to be consistent with therapy so that I can be better for my loved ones
