If he resigns it’s playing right into Reform’s hands. They can then immediately turn around and say “he doesn’t have a mandate we need a GE!!!” and show that they immediately bow to reform’s say so. I have no idea why it’s even being considered. Reform are very much a fringe party still and for some reason they’re being treated as if they’re the official opposition

I don’t believe he should resign we have gone through so many PM to the point that I don’t even remember the last one that reached full term we can’t keep switching out PMs like shoes I would like to see one be held accountable and make change for this country plus we know how it’s going to end one in one out

I’m unbelievably torn. I don’t think there’s a good reason for him to resign, I just think he’s been torn apart by the press for the last couple of years. That could easily happen to the next person too, so what’s the point in changing. But then if the press won’t run with any other stories, and voters kick out all Labour councillors, what choice does he have? It’s a bizarre situation. Completely bizarre.
