@rootedliving_ga: Little things that make me happy - Make miniature vintage frames with hot wax - While I’m slowly collecting real vintage frames one thrift trip at a time for the gallery wall I dream about in my house, I thought it would be fun to create a tiny version first. I used vintage style wax sticks and colored hot glue sticks with silicone frame molds in all different styles and sizes to make these miniature frames feel old and collected. A little gold leaf Rub ’n Buff brought out all the vintage charm, and I added floral art prints in some while letting real dried flowers pop out of others for extra texture, depth and dimension. Now this little piece feels like my own tiny wall of inspiration until I finally collect enough vintage frames for the real thing. #fyp #dollhouse #handmade #DIY #art
