Thanks for the information Madam. I have personally walked that part of the country with investors between 2016 and 2020. Portnolloth was earmarked for salt harvesting, railway infrastructure to Upington (Boegoe baai project) etc. The problem that arose is absence of a Harbour which was stopped by Environmental activists saying that its shallow and digging it up to build a port will destroy endangered species. In my view this will help with access into the West of the country since Harbour are in the East and Cape Town. I know that internally Portnolloth is also rich in oil which will need investment in refinery in Namakwaland. Please continue to share information

NC is very untapped. I grew up in Prieska. Goat farming opportunities and noe coffee with the pille!! Mining was such an attractive thing there!
