It takes a village. 💙 When a seal pup in urgent need of care was found near Denman Island, the team at Baynes Sound Oyster Co. stepped up to help. During those conversations, we mentioned another challenge we were facing: finding foods that our newest sea otter patient would actually eat. 🦦 Less than 12 hours later, they sent a cooler overflowing with fresh clams and crab. Needless to say, it was a huge hit. 🦀 Huge thanks to Baynes Sound Oyster Co. for their generosity, and to @marswildliferescue and @harbourair for helping get the seal pup safely into care. Wildlife rescue is only possible because of incredible community support like this.
