@its.anya.lacey: The second somebody learns I’m Russian, the first thing they want is for me to start speaking Russian to them immediately. I honestly don’t blame them either, it’s such a beautiful language and it sounds way cooler than English half the time. But there are certain words, phrases, and jokes in English that just do not translate properly unless you’re deeply online and painfully current with internet culture.
