My daughter did this the past two months before she graduates this Sunday. It landed her a job, that had thousands of applications but her Internship boss, referred HER. Do what he said- contact ppl in Australia if you need to if you know, they have a connection in the city that you’re in!

Also if you have older friends or siblings working in a field you can apply yourself to ask them as well. I found my current job through my brothers friend.
