I did that when I lost my 3 children tragically 9 years ago. my 6 yr old daughter had the most beautiful, long strawberry blond hair and my 15 yr old son had the cutest mullet that he loved.

Will most funeral homes do that? My grandma is 91 years old and we have been mentally preparing for when it happens. I’m not ready for it but I know someday it will happen

I was able to cit my husband's grandmother's hair for the last time in her casket and kept all of the clippings which I then made into small clear resin hearts for each person in her immediate family. It was an honor to be able to make her look like herself.

I quickly took a clipping of my mums hair before she was taken away, super last minute and random decision I’d never thought of until then and I am so happy I did. Playing with her hair growing up is one of my fondest memories 💗

I asked for a lock of my son's. They promised to wash it with my his shampoo I provided. It was still dirty and had that funky smell. I was soo sad. I had to rewash the lock myself. 😢

When my Dad passed away, the funeral director gave me a lock of my Fathers beard. It was so long and survived all the chemo even though he’d lost all the hair on his head. ♥️
