This is accurate but not fully…the pre-licensure program is for a BSN. The four courses that you’re referring to are the ones that cannot be transferred over. Only three of them have proctored exams, critical thinking no longer requires one. After you complete the pre-nursing you were then in the full-time nursing program to complete your BSN, which is two years, also four semesters. Definitely encourage anyone to transfer as much as they can to stay on track for the 2 1/2 year timeline.

Study.com changed their format when I was in it. It switched from $200+ a month to like $90 something and exams are no longer proctored. A few classes are still $200+ - pathophysiology was one of them - but the rest were the same price as Sophia- no proctored exams anymore. They are being slick about it though- if you don’t go in through a series of links and manually change your plan to the $90ish one- they will charge you the $200+

I have no credits, just a ged. I was planning on going to community college to get my LPN, work as an LPN for a while then do ADN work as a RN for awhile then get my BSN. Is there a way to fast track into LPN? Or quickest way to becoming an RN if that’s even possible? I do know clinicals have to be in person no matter what but with my mortgage & living alone I can’t afford to stop working & will have to work & attend school at the same time
