@julianaluckyofficial: Balance is how your child’s brain learns to organize itself. It’s the foundation of focus, posture, learning, and confidence — and the window to build it doesn’t stay open forever. When a parent tell me their child can’t focus, I don’t start with focus. I start with the postural foundation underneath it. If a 7-year-old can’t hold a single-leg stand for 10 seconds without compensation, their body is silently consuming the attention they need for learning. Strengthen the foundation - the focus follows. This is why we see the consistent reports from families after a few weeks of postural work: ✓ “He’s sitting up at homework now” ✓ “She can listen longer without fidgeting” ✓ “His teacher noticed” A simple home check: Have your child stand on one leg, eyes open, arms relaxed. Ten seconds. Then switch. By age 6, this should be steady. By age 8, easy. By age 10, automatic — without thinking. If your child compensates with a dropped hip, a swinging body, or quickly puts the foot down — they aren’t lazy. Their nervous system is asking for help. That’s data, not a diagnosis. But it’s a place to start.
