There is such a stigma around adoption, but I think it can be one of the most beautiful things to happen in this chaotic world. A selfless action of the birth mother out of pure love. This little girl looks like she’s going to be so incredibly loved. It isn’t goodbye forever, just for right now. 💜

I’d just let Mumma come live with me and help her raise her baby. This is so heartbreaking. I understand the baby is going to be loved, but people don’t stop and think it’s just about the baby!

Adopted child here 🙋♀️I have SO much respect and admiration for my mother who opted for adoption in order to ensure I had a good life. Its an incredibly difficult decision that never comes lightly. I love that I am loved DOUBLE by both my parents (adoptibe) and from my biological mum and grandma from afar. It was never a question of if I was loved... in fact, I was loved SO much that she chose for me to have an even better life. sending hugs to you

we have a similar thing in my culture called “Whāngai” it doesn’t mean you’re giving your child away it means you are strengthening it’s bond with its whanau ( family) .. whāngai means to nurture

Please don't ever put yourself down for making a decision that you think is best for you and your child. I swear we come first or we can't even parent. Periodt. Take care of yourself mama. She will be back to you or come find you when it's time. You will ALWAYS be her Mom! Never ever forget that!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
