I think since the store was going to sell those printed tickets like they normally do anyway —and the employee is allowed to buy tickets from the store, the winning ticket should be his and not the company’s.

Since no one owns the remaining 25 tickets & the store chooses to sell them to a customer. Imo, the 25 tickets (winning ticket included) belongs to the customer. Just another selling of goods transaction.

Firstly, they'd have to PROVE he knew it was a winner. Him buying those other tickets gives weight to the clerk's side. Else, why would he buy those other tickets too?
