I don’t know about you but I learned nothing different when I did my LPN program vs LPN to RN bridge. Literally the same education twice with exceptions of IV push and delegating to more than a CNA.

It don’t even bother me anymore. I’m an LPN and RNs come ask me questions on how to do certain skills. At the end of the day we ALL REAL NURSES and we all can learn from each other!!

When I told some family I’m going to school and got accepted for LPN program because I’m surviving and proving for myself. They asked why I ain’t going for RN and that “I should”. It was honestly a slap in the face we should normalize being proud of our loved ones not jealous 🤣😭😭😭🏅🤷🏽♀️👩🏽⚕️👩🏽⚕️👩🏽⚕️🏅😋😁😛

It’s absolutely an achievement and LPNs are real nurses. I will be an LPN for 15 years this August. Currently in school for my BSN. I’ve worked as a nurse in an elementary school, primary care, home care, TCU, LTC, COVID nurse, dermatology…I love being a nurse 💕

I am taking/have taken the same courses as the RN route. I exit my program this summer as an LPN. What they will learn the next 3 semesters, I have to cram in the next 8 weeks!!
