This is something I’m still coming to terms with it. It makes so much sense to just stuff the blanket in. I just feel like we are under the impression it should be perfect. I’m realizing the idea of perfection is what freezes me and stops me from doing something.

It would send people to know that I don’t fold my children’s shorts, swim, pajamas, underwear or socks. I don’t even match socks until they’re laid out to wear. Hahahha. But laundry day takes a fraction of the time and my feral sons have never complained.

It confuses me because it’s not like it’s a tablecloth or sheet that, when retrieved for use, needs to be smooth and straight. These blankets will be all wrapped and curled up with someone on the couch.

Yeah also in reality it doesn’t even make sense to sit there in fold them anyways so what then for them to be pulled out anyways like it literally just adds extra work for no reason

I started doing this with my pajamas- pJ tops in the upper basket, bottoms in the lower basket. Grab one of each- good to go. Just as easy to put away! Game changer.

No matter your age, this works because it frees up precious time for more important stuff, like getting dinner ready, taking a quiet shower, or reading a book without interruptions. Plus it quickly cleans up the messiness of the room.♥️

Yes! We have hampers specifically for hoodies/house clothes and blankets and it has saved me so much mental energy

I fold my throw blankets because I like the way they look on my chairs and couch. I don’t fold my bedding though.
