@mariseki: Sado Island, Japan<3 I went here when I was little and remember small bits from it and ever since I always wanted to revisit - so I finally did and it was even more magical than I remembered (😭🥹)!! It was honestly a last minute trip while being in Niigata, so we booked the ferry boat tickets the night before lol (pls book in advance to be on the safe side) Instead of bringing our car, we rented one at Sado Island and drove to all the spots I dreamt of hehe. Tbh if we had more time I would have lowkey stayed a night or 2- I got to see a lot of the places I wanted to in a day BUT we were quite stressing around because we had to catch the last ferry home and also I did have more places on my list I wanted to visit :,) Our itiniery (roughlyyyy): - Tarai Bune (the one by Yajima Kyojima) - Quick last minute lunch at soba place Marugameya - Site of Kitazawa Flotation Plant - Golden mine (it closed earlier so couldn’t go but it was ok since I’ve been before - Kiyomizuderahondo - Ishihara Sushi ~ I’ll forever love this island and I hope u do too🫂🤍 #sadoisland #ghibli #japan #niigata

佐渡は、6月と10月が良いですよ。 元々佐渡で、育ったので。 小さい時は夏は、せいぜい30℃位だったので、夏は、ハマグリやアサリ、アワビとサザエを学生時代に取って、旅館に売っていました。 今は夏は、暑すぎて、車の中から景色を見るようにしないと、歩き回れなくなりました。
