if my family gathered all of our money and sold all of our possessions we would have somewhere around maybe a little bit above 1 million dollars. ive asked both of my parents this and confirmed it. i have a pool, 4 acres of land, and own and rent out 2 other houses that we own.

the problem is that people tend to choose which ultra rich to hate and which to love, so easy to hate on guys like elon yet they draw the line when the billionaire is someone they love like taylor swift or lebron james. i know a lot of people who shouts eat the rich on these ceos yet be the first in line when consuming media related to their favorite billionaires

to add; if you made 60k/yr, and if you saved 100% of your income, you'd have 1mil within ~17yrs. unless my math is wrong, it would take ~17,000yrs to have one billion dollars if you made that same 60k/yr and still saved 100% of that income.

as somebody who lives on cape cod and like half the houses cost more than 1 million dollars… yeah. some of them aren’t even like big houses.. they’re just on the beach 😭 and those will cost you like 4 million dollars just because it’s on the beach
