It’s terribly written. There’s no depth to the storyline, it’s confusing, and there’s no real connection between the characters. It’s shallow, and so much of it just doesn’t make sense. It lacks everything that makes a good book. We need to stop hyping up male writers like this fr 💀

I was so excited for this but I’m halfway and I’m still waiting for it to get good lol I feel like both of the characters are sooo surface level and we really don’t get much from them I really want to root for someone but it’s kinda difficult lol Normal People has soooo much heart and so much chemistry and depth! Books that actually remind me of Normal People are: Talking at Night and Sunburn!!
