![More Practice! Song: Discipline by Hellblade. Plus, Davinci Resolve got an update so there's an easier way to do halftones. I know this doesn't have the best timing, though this was mostly more practice on sfx than anything. It is similar to a prior edit but I feel the aesthetic/sfx differentiate it enough to not feel overmuch like a retread. Also tried a new method of luminance grain, where the grain mostly appears on lighted areas and stays out of shadows. Fun Fact: the reinsertion of the barret 50 magazine wasn't from the actual scene [it had distracting dialogue], so I used audio from Insurgency Sandstorm! Hili’s Grotto is part of a karst system sculpted over millions of years, when this stretch of Transylvania lay under a warm, shallow sea. The gorge itself runs roughly 2.9 kilometers, its vertical walls sheltering over 60 bird species and a surprising density of endemic flora. The grotto doesn’t sprawl deep, but its modest chambers carry the signature of dissolution, mineral-rich water gnawing patiently at limestone, leaving behind damp walls that breathe cold even in high summer. Nearby, climbers trace bolted routes across the cliffs, while the Hășdate River keeps grinding away below, indifferent, methodical, eternal. There’s a peculiar austerity here, a refusal to entertain.
