I understand so much . Exactly like you said I cannot give myself an excuse . I set my alarm and wake up. Literally everything else in my life i am a certified procrastinator . Somehow I know I have free will but I feel like when it comes to my prayer I don’t have a choice and what helps me most is thinking what God will think of me if I missed it . May Allah continue to guide me this way and to help those who struggle.

Even when I don’t feel connected or it’s hard, prayer time is not just prayer it is a time to stop, take a moment and leave everything to Allah, step on the prayer mat and all the worries disappear.

If you miss it bcz of any reason how do you make up at the end of the day? Sometimes because of work i miss it and get in the kitchen kids . And time is gone. I will apply the same rule as you inshaAllah.

I have multiple chronic illnesses, and as a revert, the biggest hurdle for me was accepting that adapted prayers are still valid. Now, I will do my prayers, need it be on a chair, laying down, using a table for sujood - alhamdulilah ❤️
