@trevorcarroll_: Pay attention. They don’t care. Look at their actions. They claim they want to help autistic people, but their actions say otherwise. They pander to vulnerable families by offering a false sense of hope and security, hanging a “solution” over desperate parents’ heads. When you treat autism as something that needs to be eradicated instead of supporting autistic people as they are, that isn’t acceptance. It’s rejection. Because the truth is, many of them don’t actually want to support autistic people. They want a “cure” for autism so they can pretend we don’t exist. We always have existed.
