If you actually researched the zoo this person went too, it is aquazoo. And on the aquazoo website they have a whole page written about where their animals come from! Most are captive bred and those animals can’t be released into the wild because they wouldn’t have the survival instincts too or other reasons. They also have a rescue program and they state that if an animal can be released into the wild they will release it. There is a ton of reasons why these animals are there and at other zoos. Zoos are meant to be a safe place for animals to stay because they can’t be in the wild. Sure, the habitats in zoos are not size compatible to their natural habitat, but the staff make sure to keep all their animals happy and healthy. Please do some research before posting about this kind of topic, thank you! ❤️

As someone that study’s animal science, zoos are not all bad. Many zoos have conservation programs, meaning they’re trying to elevate the wild population by breeding domesticated ones. I don’t agree with zoos, but there’s some good to them
