So for your example on the adidas skirt, you got at the time of the buy the refund, did you had to save the receipt to show it again in customs? Also, even for the more expensive things even if they don’t give the tax free right away and you have to do it in the airport do you have to request a special receipt?

Just got back from Seoul. I have to say, the process is very confusing if it’s your 1st time. The $$ we got back was not worth the time we had to go through. We lost out on our big ticket items because we already checked bags and the other was a gift which my sister had the receipt😳

such a huge hassle. so many steps after you scan you have to get in another line to get the cash. why can they not offer automatic refund just like other shops do
