I cannot believe that we were collecting all the tears because it was going to be so hard to kill Killian and she killed him in half a page 🤯 so many issues with this book but you've covered all of them. Just so disappointing. I will keep reading hoping that we get a Lucian/Venna POV in book 3. I'm over Stark and Meryn.

You’ve genuinely made this sound so much better than the actual book 😅 the whole thing felt like it was just a bunch of insta everything plot points. Even in book one bringing up Meryns self harm and then nothing else comes of it. What happened to Isabel’s bf that was also her friend? It was just too busy and the ONLY bit of yearning promise was between Venna and Lucien. I’m rooting for that more than the MCs at this point 💀

There was so much build up to a war/battle that never even happened. When the book ended I was assuming there must be more! Such an anticlimactic ending.
