I just went in March, and it's worth every cent! What a stunning place! So many Hollywood elites of that time, have spent many days here! I want to do the guest room tour, along with the Hearst personal bedroom tour next time! Learning that Hearst had a long time mistress, that actually attended many occasions at the castle with him, along with his wife, who would be seated right at the same table as the rest of the guests!!

My daughter worked in the ticket office, so I have been on a couple of the tours. I love both pools. The Neptune pool, outside, was drained and refurbished not too long ago. It is all so incredibly beautiful.

I live a half hour away. The best time to go is Christmas time. Everything is decorated so beautiful. It is a place everyone should see at least once.
