there’s just something so special about letters. you take time to think about what you’re writing and just holding the pen to the paper makes you speak the language of your heart. with texting, the “flow state” or whatever idk you don’t really get to think deeply about what exactly you wanna say. i’m not saying you can’t be authentic on text, it’s just there’s more mystery in the dynamic you have with the other person and you put more thought into what you’re writing
