Some migrant parents hate home so much emotionally that their children grow up seeing Nigeria only as: “that corrupt place we escaped from.” No bridge back. No cultural grounding. No second emotional home. Then one day society reminds them: “You are still different.” That is the conversation many people are not ready to have.
