THIS EXACTLY, i see so many people that are on here using this as a “gotcha” to hate on bisexual women, when in reality, paris is an awful person and it has nothing to do with her sexuality

EXACTLY. I feel like we’ve entirely missed the plot in this entire controversy. Ppl r focusing on if she’s really bi or not, but that’s not the main issue. The main issue is her misogynistic viewpoint on women. Instead of saying “I don’t think Paris is bi bc ______” when we should be saying “you’re misogynistic, and you need to reflect on your view of women” is a problem. I get the anger if Paris really is lying abt being bi, but even if she is, we should be focusing on the thing that actually affects ppl, and that is misogyny against women rather than “she’s lying abt being bi”

love this take and 100% agree but i would say that Paris does not give bisexuals a bad rep because she does not speak for us. The biphobes are just excited because they have a reason to hate on/ attribute that behaviour on all bisexual women. So instead of focusing on the lesbophobia/ internalized homophobia, misogyn, transphobia and perhaps comphet - biphobes want to talk about all bisexuals being like this and this is why they 'would never date a bisexual'. And if its not this - people are making thinkpieces of how she's not actually bi - she's not a 'real' bi. Which is really annoying - like can we address the problematic things she said and not make it about her sexuality. When i first came across this situation i did not know the disgusting things she had said about mascs, studs etc. because no one was actually addressing her comments/ attitude and how it was really heteronomative, instead everyone wanted to focus on her not wanting to be in romantic relationships with women and thus she isnt bi. Im so tired

yeah I don’t agree with “she actually is just heterosexual she doesn’t speak for bi women” but that’s clearly not the issue here and just redirects the blame rather than actually addressing the issue. People always talk about internalized homophobia and then act like that can’t even be the problem in this situation.
