I work at a goodwill sorting and pricing the media. I always make sure those get tossed. I know what mold looks like even on DVDs and CDs.

omg that's nice they took you seriously and threw them out! I told an employee about their moldy VHS tapes once and she just goes "ugh sorry 🫤" totally not caring at all 😭🤣

That’s why I threw mines away in the garbage. I didn’t feel bad at all cause I knew I got half of them back in DVD it blew me away. Some ppl are mad that their fav movies are molded or tape tangle like hairs. I tell ppl all the time don’t beat yourself up about it just get it in DVD. Yes VHS will always be in my heart the nostalgic memories. But they will play out which sucks.
