Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the fact that it was their Anniversary is kinda big. Like why on their 4 year anniversary are they not spending the night together.

I completely understand why she would be upset about him going out after their anniversary date. That evening was our anniversary evening and I would be upset because I would feel like I had been set aside and that the evening wasn't special because he then went out and did something else with other people. It was no longer our special evening. I'm saying this to give more context around why someone could be upset.

I don’t think she is an asshole. She went to Reddit with how she was feeling. She said “I’m glad I kept my feelings to myself and got feedback before going to him first.” Like i don’t see anything wrong with how she handled it? She checked herself before she wrecked herself.

I just find it funny that they didn’t spend the night. I understand she’s tired he has energy. But anniversary you’d spend time together. Even if it was pjs and movie after dinner. She does need to figure out why she felt that way though

First year of teaching is rough, it makes sense that she would feel sensitive. I seriously suggest that she makes sure she reflects on how she thinks about her adult relationships before reacting. Also, insert some quiet time every day. A piece of time where she is awake, but not talking to anyone, doing any work or contemplating any work issues. This will help her find some balance.

Teacher tired is a real thing. Invite him in to do a mystery reader or something. Let him see what 45 mins in a class looks like. Mine could never. When my older kids visit me at work, they go home exhausted too, saying they understand now. 😂
