When our kids were young, we have taken them if others in our party were taking theirs. We did not take them to fine dining establishments bc we didn’t think they’d appreciate the food and the expense. Once they were teens, if they wanted to go with us somewhere, we took them.

If you don't take them while they are young, they won't know how to act when they are older. Ou kids went everywhere with us, and now our grandchildren do as well.

My parents brought me to every restaurant w them even the fancy ones. We learned how to behave properly. And my kids go everywhere w us n behave

We took our kids when they were young to teach them manners. Not taking them is when things go sideways usually and gentle parenting is also the issue.
