thats frustrating , are you sure u didnt save over a folder or something? Or maybe it was connected to ur icloud. They cant just vanish like that without you or a program doing something

This is strange it’s either a cloud issue or you left the computer turned off for too long which can potentially destroy ssd drives

It just happened to me I had a storage issue my applications were showing 145GB while the apps I have r only 45GB so I contacted them & they found a hidden file & told me to delete it (& I ASKED POINT BLANK IF SMTH WOULD HAPPEN TO MY CURRENT FILES IF THESE COPIES R DELETED) they said noooo so I deleted the extra 100GB turns out I deleted iCloud data (THE COPY OF MY WORK FILES ON ICLOUD) & suddenly everything is unresponsive & files r disappearing & I call again panicked cuz it’s 5 years of work that IM CURRENTLY WORKING ON, they said they’d fix it but no one called back & when I contacted again they were like oh there’s nth we can do thennn I called again & a senior advisor told me I could find my files in iCloud data recovery & I did but I still can’t find them in my laptop & I called again today to an unhelpful bored operator who spoke to me like absolute shit & was so irritating to talk to only be no help wat so ever & im genuinely done with this bullshit that spiralled because of advisors not knowing what they r talking about it’s very frustrating & mentally fucking at this point

In future, honey, get a windows laptop. Don't depend on an apple. As you found out, they are completely irresponsible unpredictable.\n And clearly not as good as they look get a windows, laptop and an external hard drive. I keep everything on your external hard drive. So no one but yourself.\n Are responsible for it and can access it some laptops? Like mine come with an SD slot. Sometimes it's better to use nlest d card because that way you can take it out of your laptop and even put it in your wallet or purse. Everything stays safe with you.Mac books are a waste of money and are unreliable as you have found out the hard
