only time i have switched a deck is if I bring out jank, and look around and see 3 loaded guns. Maybe that means I need to be a little more serious.

It's people like that why I put my commander face down. you don't get to see who I'm playing until everyone is done mulliganing your hand. I'm not playing anything like Tergrid to try and sneak it by you so you don't need to know who it is. Can't stand people who counter mine or other people's decks.

so this is something that i agree with. If I know your playing a deck that can be a high tier deck, and you dont communicate how strong the deck is, im switching to a deck more appropriate.

I will never swap to counter, only to match, or for the memes and everyone agrees. Ended up playing a 3 person game with Tiamat, Ur-Dragon, and SpongeBob.

I’d say swapping decks after seeing your opponents is acceptable if your swapping power levels. If my opponent is whipping out a bracket 4/5 staple commander the yeah I’m not gonna run my hehehaha funny bracket 2 into it

When I played Commander a couple of years ago with my son, we played in the store and we had quite a few good games with the people that were there. This new guy came watch watched everyone play and then pulled out his deck out of the probably 20 or so that he brought with him and proceeded to beat this snot out of all of us even though we all said this is a low powered Commander deck I don’t know the rules per se or what exactly the numbers mean but the other players did and they were very annoyed with him and after that game, we all got up, moved to another table and started playing again when he tried to join us again, the consensus was no thank you. We’d rather not play with you. We then played for several more hours together and had a really good time.

I love my pod. this doesnt happen, quite the opposite, if you take out a deck and my deck counters yours im switching. sometimes its not even countering if decks for some reason dont sinergise well we switch
