Some insight - as someone who got the “gambling” side effect from Abilify (in the form of trading options), I have always hated gambling, and the behavior both started and stopped with the Abilify

I went through akathisia for a month and it was terrible, like restless leg for your entire body. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t sit for more than 20 minutes and it made life hell.

My daughter and I are both allergic to all NSAIDs. we breakout in hives, we have difficulty breathing and our skin becomes itchy. my daughter however, has swelling in her face. what other alternatives of pain relief can we use besides Tylenol? I cant ever get a straight answer from my doctor or pharmacist??

I've taken Topamax for migraines and seizures for about 20 years and have the worst brain fog from it. Grasping for simple words is a struggle sometimes. Especially in stressful situations.

I get akathesia from a lot of anti-nausea meds (compazine, droperidol, Reglan, etc).

I took abilify for a bit but not anymore. My akathisia was horrible. Almost two years later I still occasionally get it.

I had akathisia and omg it was the worst i couldnt stay still and i cried so hard because i couldnt even sit or lay down i HAD to keep moving

I started lactating on my ssri(fluoxetine). Yes, I have given birth but over 6 years ago. Also, definitely not pregnant (wlw). Just reduced my dose and that seemed to help. 😅

sertraline made me super restless i was rocking back and forth, couldnt sit still ever. It felt like my nerves were itchy… horrible feeling😭 it also made my pupils huge lmao

Akathisia was caused by Reglan for me. They put it as an allergy in my chart because I never want to experience that again. It’s like a cross between full body RLS and a panic attack. It’s such a bizarre and uncomfortable experience
