I actually think it’s sort of a trade off. We can’t deny that we get influenced by the aristocrats, and they get influenced by us. High end Fashion bodies take inspiration from the people, The rich make certain choices with said inspiration and that in turn outlines or defines fashion genres, they set precedence which we take inspiration from.

I feel like half of these comments are missing/forgetting when you said intent but also you're 100% correct people should do research on fashion and subcultures to learn more about the history and the communities that heavily influenced and started those fashions because you learn so much complex history and also it does make you're fashion so much better
