@rachettsuesgarden: I have been using milk in the garden!! It is a fertilizer and also helps prevent root rot!!! Your garden!! Your CHOICES!!! #gardening #gardenlife #homestead #farmlife #sahmlife
no, calcium helps prevent root rot. milk adds a bunch of bacteria and fat that your plant can't use or even worse could harm it.

In general experienced gardeners would advise against this because milk especially undiluted can cause microbial imbalances, promotes bacterial growth due to sugars and proteins milk contains, encourages mold/ fungus growth, encourages presence of gnats, and generally doesn’t fix the underlying issues of root rot (oxygen/ drainage problem). Their are better ways to help through soil airation methods etc

diluted milk* can help in the garden by providing calcium. Using regular undiluted and an absess amount (im pretty sure you're doing both of those) can lead to growth stunting

Just wasting milk. Water and natural fertilizer will do fine. Leaves, dead plant remains are fine for fertilizer.😔

“Yes, you can give plants milk, but it should be used sparingly, diluted with water, and generally treated as an occasional supplement rather than a replacement for water. Diluted milk can provide calcium and act as a natural pesticide/fungicide for powdery mildew, but overuse can lead to odor, bacteria buildup, and plant wilt.”- google btw
