Question? How did you become independent? Taking your medication by yourself? My son‘s just being diagnosed and he is absolutely terrible at taking them for himself.. and also will take too many if I leave him unattended he’s a teenager. Thank you for your videos. It’s helping me understand my son a lot more.

I hate being on meds, I’m not sure if they’re helping but I’ve only been on them for about 3 weeks and my psychiatrist said it would take about 2 months to start seeing positive effects 😕

I think ppl don't realize that mental heath is just like any other chronic illness. I was diagnosed at 8 years old with my anxiety disorder I've had it my whole life. I have a physical chemical imbalance in my brain and I always will.

I dread the day I can no longer take medication because my body no longer accepts it. I need the medication to stay sane. I cannot function without my medication. I realized that after 40 years. I need medication. It is my enemy and my friend, but I do not want to and I cannot do without it.
