For now yes you're absolutely right . But this is how I see it, allow me to think out loud 😁, this evolution will be in stages and the stage you described you will be the last to go, but even at the level AI can and will eventually replace humans . AI can outsmart and outperform humans at every level, perhaps just not yet . AI doesn't have to have emotions to treat emotional carbon units , it just needs to understand it. I have heard cases of biased human psychologists/therapist treating married couples , but siding with the abuser believing/wishing the abuser to be the victim and therefore emotionally empowering the abuser, because their own emotions/empathy got in the way, AI will not have that problem. AI will have knowledge that a human maybe forgot or never learned , all the research in the world about human psychology that was concluded in the past will be at the disposal of one AI psychologist treating a human at any given time , think about that .
