Don't say you've worked places that you haven't or got degrees you never did, but you can omit info as much as you need. Have a job that lasted only 3 weeks? They don't need to know that

so I told a prospective employer that I made 15% more at my current job than I did so they would offer me 30% more. it worked. I did it for the next job too. 👀 Anyway, 4 years later and I've doubled my income

I was 3 months on a job, the cut me off because a budget cuts. My boss told me to put that I was 2 years on my resume to fill the gap that I had and they were gonna back that up

personally, as someone who ACTUALLY worked at Payless shoe source right up until the end, I'm haunted by the tips telling people to lie and say they worked at businesses that have closed

I lied about my skills in my first professional job which is literally a statistician role for medical research, which I was basically high school level. I actually got the job and had to learn statistical analyses and the software(SASS) over a weekend. over my short 3 yr working for the research doctor, I co-authored 5 papers and my boss thought I was an expert. don't be afraid of lying kids, just make sure you follow through your lies 😂
