I kept my son rear facing until around 2.5. The amount of judgement I got from other mums about him being rear facing. Starting from when he was around 1.

Still RF my 3.5 year old! Once she’s 4 and then toward facing she’ll be in a 5 point harness car seat and once that’s outgrown she’ll be in a booster.

We had an accident - my 3 yrs old daughter was in rear facing carset and was sleeping. I had really bad whiplash and Im still suffering from the aftermath symptoms but she was completely safe n fine! I agree with 5 pointers seat belt and rear facing carseat.
