The disease was identified as an acute respiratory infection rather than a mysterious or supernatural occurrence. How Authorities Responded To control the outbreak, health officials: • Screened students and staff • Administered medication and preventive treatment • Increased medical monitoring • Temporarily closed the school • Implemented infection-control measures These interventions helped contain the spread of the virus and restore confidence among parents and the public.
