@bethanyrosewoolston: This is super vulnerable and I didn't really want to share but really need all the tips I can get. I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been extremely intentional to keep my body moving and healthy for my labor as I want to go fully unmedicated. I've been so passionate about it and it's truly just a dream I don't want to miss out on. This past weekend I was in a car accident and everything in my body is thrown off. I have jaw lock, my right leg is scraped and bruised it hurts to walk and then sciatica on my left leg so I can barely take 20 steps without crying. I was so excited for these last few weeks to really relax my body and prep for this labor and I have no idea where to start 😔 so if any moms have ANY advice on how to fix the sciatic pain SPECIFICALLY in the third trimester or just pregnancy pls lmk 💓💓 #pregnancypain #unmedicatedbirth #sciaticarelief #pleasehelp #blowthisup
Go to the chiro asap! Make sure they specialize treating in pregnancy.

When I tell you breathing with every contraction helps. When it’s time to push blow like you are trying to blow up a balloon as hard as you can. I did not tear.

Learn breathing techniques/breath through every contracting. Try to relax your jaw, shoulders and back during labor. It’s hard but it helps a lot! Peanut ball or ball for different positions. Moving as much as possible throughout labor! Moving helps you keep progressing. You don’t have to push on your back. It’s harder for you and can increase risk of tearing. Oh also try the comb trick when you have contractions. Helps distract you from the pain! Labor is way more of a mind game than physical. Bridget Teyler has a lot of great videos that helps

Oh momma. I am so sorry. I would find a webster certified chiro and go to pelvic floor therapy. Both with help release this trauma and help your body relax🥰

I knew I wanted to go as natural as I could, it was all in my mindset, I knew I wasn’t gonna ask for the epidural and I didn’t. I had faith that I could do it and that’s all it took. Just push through I promise you’re stronger than you think!

I had an unmedicated birth for my second I didnt have a chance to get the epidural i was in labor for 4 hours they had me stand in the warm shower surprisingly that helped alot I drank raspberry leaf tea starting at 38 weeks it helps soften the cervix fast I tried staying upright because laying down slows the birth down and bringba comb so u can squeeze that in your hand it helps I also did the miles circuit like 3 times a week it didnt put me into labor or the raspberry tea I mixed v it with pineapple juice I was induced at 41 weeks 6 days

I did unmedicated because of a prior injury and truly counting and remembering pain has a purpose and a outcome and my body was meant for it as much as it feels like you can’t you truly can you got this mama

I had my last baby unmedicated… best delivery out of all 4 of mine. Wish I could go back in time and never have epidurals. Listen to your body.

Try getting adjusted by a chiropractor for your back pain and stuff! Something could have just been knocked out of place!

Oh lovely.. I’m sending you all the love.. I’m also 35 weeks.. so I don’t have any good advice, but I just hope you are okay.. as much as you can be- also my goal is to be able to just use the nitrous oxide, I don’t know how unmedicated you want yo be but I think it’s a great option if your hospital has it because it’s quicker relief but doesn’t stay in your system like IV meds or an epidural! 🫶🏼
