Hello comments! There are plenty of reasons why a parent may choose not to latch (personal discomfort, medications that aren’t safe for baby, etc.) which are not your business to question, especially when she said baby is about to be fed via bottle anyway. It’s not appropriate to pressure the parent to latch their baby simply because the baby is displaying cues, it is likely for the parent or baby’s safety or wellbeing and THAT MATTERS MORE than your personal judgement. Thank you.

Some of y’all are really weird when it comes to what woman decide to do with their bodies. I plan on not breast feeding and exclusively pumping just because I personally don’t want to and no one needs an explanation for why they don’t want to breast feed. As long as the baby is fed, no one should have an opinion
