This is completely wrong! The body will release fat for fuel before it breaks muscle down into amino acids for fuel. you don't have to be a biology major to know that. I work out on an empty stomach, when I lift in the morning and do 2 hours like nothing. Your body cannot burn a 700 calorie meal just by sleeping 😂
Once you carb up after the workout. you'll be just fine, plus you burned fat in the process.

I do it all the time it's not true I can run 2 miles on the treadmill and then go lift weights for another 30 minutes to an hour without a problem

I think it depends on the person. I fast all day long, except a protein drink after a workout 1-1.5 hours in the morning. Also I’ve been doing this for almost 4 months now and gained nearly 15lbs of muscle.

In an empty I lift weight 45min 90% effort and run 45min zone 2 daily sometimes twice a day. Then zone3-5 once a week. I lost a lot of fat and weight.

It must be true Gary Brecka said it 🤣. I am a retired pro athlete and fasted workouts have always been better for me personally. Can only go off my own experience but I ALWAYS got way more out of my workouts fasted
